R33 S2 Motor Wont Start In My S1

Recommended Posts

to me that sounds like a mixture problem..

I had a very similar problem when I purchased my car... it would only start when cold, but once hot would crank and not start at all...

Everytime that happened, i had to drive the car back home the AFM disconnected, putting the ECU into LIMP mode and wait for it to cool down before I could start it.

After much stuff around, turns out my AFM & injectors were shot... Swapped a front bar for another AFM and got my injectors ultrasoniced and problem went away like that.

Also check for vacuum leaks, perhaps the mixture could be mega lean because of leaks..... check if the aux air unit is fully connected or blocked off, and all lines to the rocker cover / PCV are connects and sealed.
