what does it actually do? if I put it in my car, make the neccesary adjustments...then take it out again (sell it etc..).

Is it as good as not doing anything at all? It has to remain intact in the car rite??

sorry if the above sounded hilarious, but i really wan to know all these.

iam sure it controls air folw its like a piggyback computer for your car its go for power but i think when u remove it u have to start again and retuine the factory one well that makes sence to me .Rian

if u take it out and sell it, the car will run according to the standard factory ECU tune

what it does is that it intercepts the signal from the AFM to the ECU and allows you to manipulate the signals accordingly. ie: run rich or lean at any point within the rev range. it does need to be tuned on a dyno for maximum gains

Thks Bambam. I am actually selling my skyline and my mate is interested in the SAFC installed in it. Strange tht the owner himself doesnt really know abt the functions of it huh...

well, i hve decided not to take it out as it does add value to the car.

Anyway, I can't post an advert in the for sale section coz it says i need to accumulate 40 posts to do tht..can anyone help me out?? or else i can only advert it on quokka or newspaper..and mayb print some posters to be pinned in Curtin or somewhere..
