Battery Help...

Hey guys i notice my battery is starting to SH*t it self due to the old age and not being the right battery it has the bigger clamps due to fit a different battery but what battery do you guys recommend...i got a big sound system aswell...i want something that wont let me down....thanks

i'm using the 400 series but the PHB650 sounds like what u need "Enthusiast level car audio and entertainment systems" get them from Autobarn. Tomorrow is 20% off storewide so there's your chance. I got mine for $170. Much better than the monster size crap supercheap battery that came with my car! it weighs 1/2 as much

have u got PHB400 in ur R32? is it enough CCA as seem like it only 198 ?

yup, i'm using the PHB400 for the last 12 months or so. Absolutely no problems starting the car ever.

What matters when choosing a battery is the PCA (Pulse Cranking Amps) rating which this battery has a PCA of 407. This is more realistic measure when starting your car, as u only crank it for a few seconds max. CCA is for a continuous 30 seconds cranking - which is totally unrealistic.
