I changed my GTS pump to a GTR V-spec pump, straight forward, only problem is getting that fiddly screw cap to thread back on. It was a direct swap, not sure what the talk about clamps is ??

I have an R33 GTR fuel pump a want to install shortly into my R33 GTSt

Can anyone else vouch for what Chook said that it is a 'direct replacement' ?

No need for brackets and the like?

Would like to hear from people who actually have this setup.

..and if that's the case, i have spare brackets if anyone needs em.

the gtr pump will be different at the bottom where it sits in the cradle with the rubber so you cannot use the gtst rubber there. that is why people use stainless cable ties/clamps to hold the pump to the bracket. also the hose at the top of the pump may be a bit long and need a little trim

that is about all, the sock on the bottom u can use on the gtr pump, also the wiring connections are the same (bolts through crimp lugs)

so its up to u how to mount it... with a rubber would be best i rekon because when they installed mine it vibrated loudly because of it being held onto the cradle with cable ties
