Someone broke into and tried to steal the Stagea early this morning.

Thieving bastards got NOTHING ... sucked in you f**king morons.

I take measures to ensure my ride is locked and secured and can't be stolen. I always keep all valuables in my house. Drivers window was getting replaced anyway, this is just making me get it sooner ... no skin off my nose.

Car has been photographed and fingerprinted by police. And 'yes' some prints were lifted.

Pray the cops get you before I do. I keep my "tools" closer to the bed at night now. :P

First accident on the bike then getting scammed by some fag in Melbourne now this wtf ey?

First one was my fault for trusting Council to keep the roads in a safe and well maintained manner.

Second and third were my fault to thinking the community had a majority of honest people. :D

I'm really learning not to trust mankind. :P

thats shit ruby, not cool at all

ill give you a :) hug at the cruise oh are you bringing you pretty girl this time?

Cool! I get a Bunny-hug! Tracy's flu has cleared up and she's feeling better, should see her out on Sat night.

I should also clarify that they broke into my S1 silver Stag, not my prized S2 black Stag. But I can't drive the black stag until the turbo swap is finished, and the silver Stag can't be driven far now due to no window. More of an inconvenience more than anything.

better change ya name to lucky :P glad thry did not get ya car a window is easy to fix

Window needed replacing anyway, so really no bother except I don't have the replacement window yet.

And I do consider myself "lucky", because the bastard when caught won't be so lucky.

We chased them for a good fiew blocks but lost them in one of the creeks. Think we had them shit scared cos their were bolting pretty hard... I would be to cos I sure wouldnt like to cop a 17" breaker bar....

Jenkies, thats an advantage of having cop friends. One of them is a forensic photographer. They'll ensure they do try to match it. It'll take about a week tho, its not like CSI where they do it in a matter of minutes.

Biggest pain in the arse of course was vacuuming all the broken glass.

I've also received a tip off from a neighbour. The finger is pointed at some people local in the 'hood.

Id take a TLR in blue :D

Like f**k you will :)

    • How dare you sell your unreliable Skyline and buy a reliable, Toyota/Yamaha car with a strong gearbox, torsen LSD and Toyota reliability. At least you won't need to worry about oil pumps, big catch can, oil restrictors, blowing off power steering belts, sheering off 3rd gear, failing ABS relays/pumps, etc.
    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
