FYI its impossible to 'read' the 'real' ignition timing on consult/computer, because the ECU doesnt know it. it assumes the car has its base timing set accordingly. so when its reading 5deg, its actually "base timing - 10 deg". so if ur base timing is 30, then its running 20, not 5.

and normally i would think 5 is quite low (maybe in retard mode due to pinging) so you need to get ur timing done with a timing light asap considering that + the pinging.

if you had access to a consult cable you could retard the timing like 10deg acrss the range via active tests (this isnt permanent, you need to keep the active test running) and see if that helps
