Boostin r33 what ere you talking about. You are so random. Nobody has been to see the car so how could have somebody not bought it???

Thats it Tomei R32 the market is dead atm at I feel sorry for all the guys asking $18+ for there car as they won't sell unless they are immaculate cars. If this one hasn't sold already for under $13k what chance do they have as this is in the same cond as cars of the higher value.

It on carpoint now so it should sell fast. Forums are just talk and lots of it but I like to give it a go. I bet if there was a gtr perfect on here for $10k nobody would call him to see it there would just be 100 posts asking for photos and asking whats wrong with it!

dude in one of the earlier posts u quoted I have one genuine interest already who called who will see the car later this week and if he doesn't want it it will be going to be advertised through carsales/carpoint etc. Was there any reason in why he didnt buy it?

Cheers Mrfrontmount!!

I never called the guy as I want to paint up and tidy a few things before people look at it expecially if they only really want a look and thats it. Come and see the car and make your own decision or call me to discuss.

I also said this in this post- As I have said to many people - "If you can't afford a phone call for 2 minutes you can't affored a gtr!!!"

Sorry for that but Hungry Gtr there a picks on page one. I don't know why but I can't edit the first post to ad pics????

Not interested in an RB25 Powered GTST?

I know you said you weren't overly interested in trades, but thought I'd ask as I'm looking at moving to a GTR in the next few months.

Can't believe this hasn't sold.

Good luck mate.

Sorry Memph there wouldn't be much point me trading on anything that is going to be slower than a gtr. Even fairly highly modified gtst's will struggle to match a stockish gtr in performance and handling.

I've had lots of call but no action yet. Everybody has been happy with the car and really suprised its still here. Seems everybody is just browsing atm.

Is this the same vehicle you bought in this post

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...html&hl=gtr,

if so is the motor still stuffed? im just genuinely interested in buying a decent 32gtr

Cheers Oosh.

Yes it is that car in the above post. As I've mentioned a few times before I only bought it to fix and sell. Changed the engine. Since I've been back at work and the shit weather atm I haven't had time to tidy up a few things, to have the car finished completely. The car is a really tight car so I'm suprised it is still for sale. Going on other cars I've had you can have them for a couple months and in one week have 3 people wanting it. Just waiting for the wave to come atm and not in to much of a hurry to sell while I have some cash flow.

It is a nice car but not a +$20k example. Would easily be on par or better than many $16-17k cars around. Look at the price. Its fkn cheap for what it is. I know I'd buy a gtr over a 33gtst anyday for the same $.

The gtr market is dead atm, I have my car on some other forums gtr 32 for 10grand and it still has not sold yet. There are so many time wasters asking questions heaps of questions via the net I dont understand why they can't just pick up a phone or just come look at it if they are so keen on it.

Good luck on the sale

    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
