I was looking for R35 GTR approval and I noticed as of today the new Koenigsegg CCX Convertible has been approved as a new vehicle to be imported so hopefully they will hit the roads of NSW soon (from memory only licenced dealer is in Sydney).

This is the car that made a mess of the STIG on national TV and theyre giving it approval!!!t!!

Unreal...they couldnt even clear the Nissan cube quicker...

Nah Mortgaged that off in the 80's, damn receivers took it soon after....didn't work anyway so sucked in bank :P

I loved watching Jeremy Clarkson shit himself when he drove that.

Why anyone would let it loose on Aussie roads is beyond me. I can see writeoffs appearing on the horizon

      I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).

      Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.

      The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.

      Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 😀
