Ok...

Due to loss of license for speeding, I've decided to sell my WRX...

its been a awesome car, i've spent over 20k on this car to get it how it is today.

its in absoluetly stunning condition and most of the car has been rebuilt.

Engine mods its fairly standard but everythign else has been upgraded.

-This cars most best feature is the Gearbox.

It has a "Dogbox" in it with Straight Cut gears 1st,2nd,3rd - 4th, 5th have been hallical cut and strengthend.

The gearbox in this car has a distinct sound and turns heads everywhere.

(its got a winding noise as u built speed it gets louder and highpitched.)

The gearbox also has receipts for 6 Grand worth of work and also a Lifetime warranty.

-Heavy Duty Cushion plate clutch was installed last year - Approx April 07

Exedy Heavy duty goes well with the Dogbox.

-Engine mods Feature:

-Genuine Hybrid FMIC 600X400 approx (maybe bigger) with genuine Hybrid polished Pipes and joiners

-Aftermarket Performance Fuel Pump

-T-smart adjustable boost controller (Currently running 14 PSI)

-TD05 HIGHFLOWED turbo so the turbo spools VERY quickly. (hits full boost about 2800?)

-3INCH turboback exhaust custom made Stainless steel

-The car has fully refaced, Its had a "face lift",

so i've changed everything Inc headlights front bumper, Fog lamp covers, Rear spoiler/wing, Sideskirts

EVERYTHING !

This car looks like a 2000 STI.

-Other Modifications are:

-05 STI allow wheels with low pro tyres

-Lowered on King Spring Superlows (legal height)

-Boost and Oil metres (autometer)

-Alpine sound system

-Full tint legal though

-The car has had a full respray, With the Redish/Purple colour then ontop of that Its got a Blue Pearl through it.

So the car appears a few different colours in differnt shades of lighting.

-The Cars engine has been rebuilt by the previous owner,

I do not have receipts to prove because i wasnt given any but the engine is VERY healthy. Any compression/ RACV test is welcome.

-The Chasis of the car has only Run 117 XXX KMS...

Its more of a weekend or a Emergency car to me, I seem to have bad luck when i drive it.

-Currently registered till August 08 but will be renewing it relatively soon, The car is a 97 Model but still has full Sports "bucket " seat interior.

-I'm After 17K with RWC and 12 months REGO...

price is Nego ...

If your keen SMS or Call 0449 692 816

Cheers Johnny

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
