Definitely go for performance if I had a GTR that's why I said I would rather fit tyres without stretching. Seeing that he wants that tough look, to me a tough look is wheels slightly out of modified guards (some cars look better with flared, some with only a roll and slight pump) and tyres stretched to tuck it under using camber and castor to avoid rubbing. It's all for looks.
