i sure was...

the car could possibly be available for $25,000 with a 10sec motor...

But i think when i get my licence back i'm going to have a few problems - insurance cost is through the roof - and i reckon they're gonna try and hit me with the gay no turbo rule... i also have to sell my V8...

But i'm moving back to lower and slower things...

yeah, i will always be here to organise autosalon, will still go on cruises....

Will just be driving a ute instead - it will be in Final Battle thiss year too - privately..

depending on how things work out with these laws, the ute will either be running an SR20DET or an RB25DET...

and yes, the motor is still available...

going mini truckin' eh??

thats a shame!

sell the v8 and keep the line.....!

Yea, used to own a bagged ute - never got in shit from cops - was N/A...

Just all this B/S goin on with imports now is starting to limit what we can and can't do - all most every aftermarket part is illegal!!!

i will be looking to build a 32 GTST track car soon too...

Paul where did you get your front bar from?

Im also selling my line. But not due to cops. Never ever had a problem with cops (touch wood) since i bought it 3 years ago

If anyone is keen check sig!!

SOLD!!!

Sad to say, but yes, i have sold my car...

I hope that its proud new owner will take care of it as much as i did and that it will go far.

If anyone ever trecks up to Townsville QLD, make sure you keep your eye out for it...

:D

This car was awesome...

Hopefully i still one day get to meet you man

Hey mate, you will get to meet me... i'm still gonna be co coordinating AutoSalon with Doof...

And will also come to a few crusies to see some peoples i haven't seen in over 12 months...

Only difference is i'll be driving a ute

Thanks for your replies guys... it will be sad to see this car go, the amount of time and effort that i have put into every car i have owned has shown in the final product.

I have plenty of plans for my new truck, including - custom tub, air bags, 20's, interior and stereo, and last but not least, a fully built rb25det w/ high mount turbo. Looking for between 250 - 300 rwkw in a RB powered dual cab rodeo Rodeo -

This is my new toy...

    • You Gregged a whole racetrack!?
    • Look for broken wire or bad connector at the motor. Might not be it, but is worth starting there, as it is easy.
    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
