My Skyline Vandalised Need Help

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

The other day my car (1998 40th Ann R33 GTS-t) was vandalised at a train station. Somebody ripped off my side window rain and wind deflector, half of it was still attached. By doing this they also damaged my door seals. It took me two days to clean up the mess. It looks ok now but you can now see my damaged seals and im afraid if it rains it might leak inside the car. So im after a new side mirror wind and rain deflector where would be a good place for me to get another one for my Skyline.....wreckers maybe. I ve been told by a mate to actually try nissan dealers as they might be able to get me the part brand new.

Cheers Guys

Sounds like they were trying to break in (Rip of the window deflector, Coat hanger down through the seals to the passenger door unlock switch, did it myself to my 33GTST, took about 20 seconds).

You got an immobilizer/alarm installed... right? ....right? :S

Nissan dealers/Import wreckers would be my bet.

Thats was my first guess, i always park my car right under the camera so i think they didnt notice the camera at first once they did they buggered off.

Sure Do  so its not like they could take my car anywhere, they were after all my stuff inside the car coins magazines hoodie and cd's etc, so its kinda my fault for leaving all that stuff inside. As we speak my car has nothing in it absolutelly nothing (even the cd player has been de tached and is sitting at home) the only thing they could steal is my fluffy dice lol

Looks like you take care of your wheels mate.

So as a temp. measure, buy some "Dynagrip" 'Weatherstrip and Trim Adhesive' to repair the rubber &/or help the seal to stay put/adhere to the door and sill; till you get your replacement.

+1 for above advice from other guys and don't forget SAU Wtb.

Sympathise with you. I put in a thread in Cosmetic etc etc, about Caution of Where To Park Your Car early this month. Bloody fits your situation eh?

Regards, T
