another one here,

sitting at some lights behind bris casino there was a nut case screaming at in the car next to me 100% bogan

he was screaming and spitting like an uneducated feral animal

i leaned over and wound down my window and asked "have i done u wrong mate?"

He wound down his window and started screaming incoherantly ....

so i say hmmmm i go into my bag to grab a mace in case he comes over ....... he goes to open his door and starts to walk over and i just sit there

i guess that shocked and confused him as he must have been expecting me to fly off

and by this point i was really intrigued by what his issue was and i was around 9 times his size (not that it matters) lol

so i get out and he runs over to one side of my car and were doing the whole walk around the car thing and i say "HEY COCK HEAD WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!"

he then clears up and says what? nothing?! what the f**k are we doing?

i was like oooooooooo kkkkkk time to get in the car and leave

i think he had like split personalty or something like that

way to go Queensland Transport for giving this guy a license to drive!

I had a similar thing not too long ago, i caught a train into town with a bunch of mates on a friday night so i could drink, and on the way back the next day there was a guy who got on around the half way point and started yelling and carrying on (really loudly and aggressively) to his mates (oddly enough, he was yelling at them about why he had no friends whilst slapping them upside the head) and there was a mentally handicapped guy on the train, and was looking at the guy (i don't blame him, we were all doing it but just being subtle)

Anyway, the guy starts yelling at this poor guy, and when i stood up to defend him he started threatening to murder me because he was bi-polar schizophrenic which somehow justified it, i just asked the poor handicapped guy to come sit behind me and my mates because this angry guy had just thrown his sunglasses at the handicapped guys face.

It astounds me as to how these people can justify it, abusing a disabled person is horrible

sounds like the same guy?

maybe he moved to s.a lol

Jasons tips

1. never respond to ANY goading, never give the finger, shout to your rear view mirror etc

2. drive NORMALLY don't get into a flight situation, you might end up crashing

3. never pull over and get out of the car

4. drive to avoid getting stopped in traffic at lights

5. if you can think clearly dial the cops on your mobile 131 444 (does this number work on mobiles?)

6. try to get licence plate

7. drive to the nearest police station

had the same experiences as everyone else, found driving normally and basically ignoring them seems to deflate the situation quite a bit

8. If you have a black belt and know how to handle the situation, disregard the above and beat the shit outta them

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
