My beautiful "Black Betty" is up for sale and in need of a loving home to make way for the new bike I wish to buy. I bought this car a bit over 3 yrs ago and am the first owner since it was imported. I have only used Shell Ultra 5w/40 Full Synthetic oil and changed it every 5000 to 7500kms with oil filter and I also had the timing belt done when needed. It had 45000kms on the clock when I purchased it from JAPLINK Motors at Haberfield in Sydney and most of the Mods were added by me as it was pretty much standard when purchased. It is my daily driver and I also used it for work when i was a real estate agent so the car has ALWAYS been kept well presented and serviced regularly. It has never missed a beat and is a strong and reliable car that i am very reluctantly putting up for sale. Her enhancement list is as follows: 18" x 8" and 9" Rays VOLK "F-Zero Challenger" Racing wheels freshly painted with NO GUTTER RASH, SUPER RARE GTR Active-LSD ($5000 Factory option), GREDDY FMIC with protective black alloy mesh, JUSTJAP 3" Dump/Front pipe with 3" Hi Flow Cat plus JASMA 3.5" catback exhaust, RS-R Lowered Springs from Japan, GREDDY Turbo Timer, GIZZMO IBC Electronic Boost Controller, RAZO (Jap) Short shifter, RAZO (Jap) Pedals, HKS Pod Filter, QFM High Performance Brake Pads, NISMO front and rear Strut braces, Auto Watch Alarm/Imobilizer, GIZZMO Dual Stage Shift Light, JUSTJAP adjustable rear camber bars, Factory Skyline Mats, Sony Flip face CD player, Kenwood front speakers and Pioneer Rear. This is an opportunity to buy a well cared for 1997 R33 Type-m (see matching number plate) from a mature (35yrs) owner who has only ever had 98 octane fuel and quality oils used. As far as i'm concerned if "Betty" sells great and if she doesnt sell, great. I love this car and it will be sad to see her go. I am happy to allow joyrides but due to insurance, test drives will depend on age of purchaser. My appoligies to test pilots and time wasters for any inconveniance.

Aww Wayne, don't sell her, she's too beautiful

If you want to sell the rims seperate by the way I'm looking for some nice 18s for my new car :D

Free Bump for a beautiful example of an R33, can personally attest to how clean and mechanically perfect he keeps this car.

Thanks mate, PM me with an offer for the wheels. They have new 255 Federal 595 SS's on the back and 40% 235 Maxxis

MAZ-01's on the front.

Sorry for this Wayne..... buuuuuuuuuuuuuut...

LOL @ photos of a "boat" on a boat ramp!!!

But GL with sale... I personally know how much time and effort Wayne puts into maintaining this car.... Buyer won't be disappointed!

Another plug for Wayne's beast

I went to my year 12 formal in this ride, and have known Wayne for a number of years now and his 33 has been extremely well looked after and is worth every cent

Hi, just curious where abouts your located?

Ash

Just changed the oil and filter. I love for this to be sold before i have to do it again.

Does anyone even want to look at my baby?? Surely someone wants a car that has been cared for and not thrashed!

Alright, getting over it now. Dont worry too much about the price posted as I'm open to offers. Come and have a look and we will talk price once you like what you see!!

Also, can some of you guys PM me some feed back on what you think of my car? I know not everyone likes the whole white wheel thing but i have a set of stockers that i can throw on for a cheaper sale price. Its a good car and just want to see what people think. I want my bike dammit!!!

anyone SERIOUSLY in the market for a 33 needs to check this one out. 16000 is a bargain for such a well looked after and smartly modded car.

I will consider swaps for a 1000cc or bigger vee twin Harley style cruiser Motorbike. If you own a 1800cc Suzuki M109R and are looking for a series 2 Skyline, i think we need to talk my friend!!!!

    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
