GDay Myron,

Welcome (under better circumstances next time of course) !!

What are the symptoms as you turn the key?

Any tell-tale markers in the past few cold starts?

Any rough running within the 1st 5mins?

Cheers,

Terry

BTW is it the Pulsar or the GTR? Haha

heheheh Its the GTR , Pulsar GTI-R has some cosmetic damage so it isn't running

symptoms are , it cranks but wont start. Never had any problems just that it wont start suddenley

well what i have done till now is i have checked the fuses and relay and they are good.

i removed the fuel feed return line and no fuel , so pump isn't feeding

i didn't have a volt meter so today i'm going to with those following steps that the manual refers to

Hiya,

Besides the question mark over the pump, you didn't just fill 'er up before coming home last did you? AFM?

T

yep i did fill her up , i must have a lot of bad luck if both pumps are toast.

i think both pumps are good it has to be something else

Well in that case, IF YOUR CAR AIN'T AT FAULT, I'd at least call the Servo and put in an official request to have the fuel quality assessed!

It'll take up to a week to get the answer.

And get a sample of your own fuel out of the tank as well - preferably from the bottom.

Meanwhile, you'll get more info from the brains trust...

Problem solved. It was a connector pin that wasn't making any contact in the FPCM

thanks

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
