gotta remember the r33 areodynamics was improved to! the front air splitter is one change and there is a reason why the guards are so flared out, because it channels air to the big rear spoiler! areodynamics = more down forces which means more grip and stability!

purely cosmetic dude, youd have to be doin warp speed for that thing to work. You got that idea off the new R35 GTR top gear episode lol.

yeah i remember top gear was talking about that and i kinda worded it that way but i got it from best motoring international! they were also talking about the zero lift in the 350z and how more stable it is than the gtr downforces! quite interesting, made me understand what those gt wings do on race cars because i thought they were just for rice purposes

Um the 32 GTR has flared guards stock... and they all came with a big wing... what splitter are u talking about?

yeah it does but 33's is where the areodynamics have been really improved according to bmi and the torque split is more agressive! the front air splitter is the black lip on all the gtr's

Hey guys sorry my net has been going shit lately but thanks for all the comments lol

After knowing what its like to have a 33 and 32, their handling etc are different. But I am having much more fun in the 32. Not much of a cop attention as much as 33s and if there are so many 33 haters why is everytime i go for a drive, doesnt have to be long i pass like 5 of them lol. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! a bit like commadores!

P.s Tom im gonna get my suspension done by my friends who know what they are doing sorry, changing suspension is a headF*ck. Im not allowing a 17 and 16 year old to put my suspenion in. I do trust you Tom but not with the car work sorry. Ill get it done when i have time and money.

Ahh ok, yeah certainly its true the drag coefficient for each skyline sucessively has gotten better. I think the 32 gtr has a 0.40 coefficcient and the new 35 GTR has 0.27 with the 33 and 34 in between.... and yeah I'd like improved attessa on the 32, surprising that theres no aftermarket replacements for the (craptastic) climate control and the attessa, or at least a retrofitting kit...

tho the front spoiler lip is just a second underbody diffuser... i've removed my lip and the lower diffuser, and now the brakes get even more air to em

so... does anyone know if 33 attessa systems can be retrofitted into 32's?

Meh whatever. Probably a good idea, I was gonna rely on Mike anyway haha. Together we can do anything...

now that i have my net back im gonna chuck my 2 cents in

ive owned a 33 and I liked it. the interior imo is the best out of the 32, 33, 34.

I love my 34 now. deff my fav but the 33s interior was nicer.

32s are way out dated. yes quick etc. but I want a nice car inside and out with newer parts. A car that hasnt been thrashed by 234 people.

If i were to get a track car it would be a 32 tho, cheaper and light.

when I owned my 33 I would have a quick look at 32s and 33s, but when I saw a 34 pull up with the big back lights It looked to own the road.

i dont understand your reasoning kahli, you said it just gets damaged too much at school by jelous people, yet you have bought another skyline....and running costs, lol minimal difference if any between them.

is it just me or does this not make sence to anyone else ether? good on you for buying another one tho but i just dont understand the reasoning behind it.

+1 jack i totally agree.

mind you i have to ask.............where are you getting the money to buy all theses cars kahli? is mummy and daddy handing it out to you?

if your still at school then you should buy something that is going to get u from a to b, and not something that "all the jealous kids" are gonna go and ruin.

i , like jack do not see you reasoning, behind going from a 33 to a 32. i think its more of a statement going "look what i have got/had"

if i am incorrect in saying that mummy and daddy are handing out money to you left right and center then i apologise, but from what i have read it does seem that way very much and i think if that is the case you need to grow up and start taking responsibility.

i am not saying this because i am jealous, because i am not, at least i dont have something that my parents have over me, i own my car and everything i have done to her, and by hell its a better feeling doing it that way then relying on your parents to buy everything for you.

so how do you afford insurance? someone of your age would not be able to afford full comprehensive insurance, its either that or you dont have any.

i could keep going but ive had my rant.

leave the poor girl alone.. so what if her parents bought it for her, you telling her she should work and buy her own car but how can she when she still in school. why should she not drive a skyline just because she didnt buy it, my parents bought me my first skyline without me even knowing they bought me one, and plus she might have sold the r33 and bought the r32 and put the rest of the money in a savings account or something?

Well im planning on getting a s15 at the end of the year so i needed something cheap to run around in for now. Anyways the 33 just kept getting damaged at school because of jealous idiots. Too much of a risk. School wont do anything about it.

that makes no sense buying a 32 for something cheap to run around in why not just by a honda civic or some thing along thoughs lines. And if your car gets damaged at shcool why drive there leave it for the weekends

Hell you guys are being harsh.

My step brother goes to an expensive school (although we're not rich) and every day he comes home saying things like 'One of my mates just got a DB9' or 'Jonno got a brand new WRX, fully worked' or something along these lines. One thing we've learned from this is not to complain, because its just a total waste of time. You can winge and wine all you want but is that going to convince their parents? I think not.

I'm not far from buying my own skyline, with minimal help from parents. Most of the money is mine except for some inheritance money and a small loan (not just giving me money) from Dad. I bought my previous car on my own, spent all my own money fixing and running it, parents didn't spend a cent and yeah, I did appreciate it, but this isn't to say if they bought me a car I wouldn't appreciate it. If they have the money, and think the kid will appreciate it, why not?

I just want to get my car now :(

    • I'm so far behind in the jobs I have to do at both work and home (including car) that I have become immortal. There's simply no way that I can die now.
    • Each to their own I guess  Me, I put just as much time into cleaning inside of the cars as I do on the outside As for getting wet, it is really no different than steam cleaning the carpets at home, apart from the cars carpet dries alot faster than the house, again, I only do it in the hotter months and leave the car opened up for a few hours As I only do it yearly, it is just before I do the diff and gearbox service, so I clean the carpets, then it's up on stands, wheels off, service, clean the undercarriage,  grease the bushings and do a nut and bolt check on everything  Disclaimer: I typically had all the time in the world to kill when I was working 🤣, so spending a full day or 2 cleaning, serving and "looking at stuff" was,  easily achievable, and a fun mental therapy day As for time to kill, I retired last Wednesday, so apart from my physical training, my days are filled with lots of random jobs around the house and garden...."Idle hands are the Devils something something" I am also buying a new house sooner rather than later, I'm actually looking at a potential property tomorrow, I'm looking forward to getting a car hoist as I'm starting to get to old to crawl around under a car, I can only imagine all the undercarriage cleaning and looking at stuff when that gets set up
    • Yeah, I'm not interested in wetting the carpets, and I don't care about brown dirt/dust that lives deep in the pile or underneath. It's not like I crawl around on them in my birthday suit or eat dropped food off them (because there is never any open food in my car). The seats are alcantara (cheap Chinese imitation alcantara, to be sure!) with barely 1" of foam pad behind the surface. That's not getting wet either. Any car that I would be happy to get the interior wet, I would not care to put the effort into.
    • We have one that holds 2.8L of water. On floor carpet that hasn't been touched in 2 or 3 years, will take a minimum of 2 fills of the tank to do a bedroom, and that's going AROUND the bed.   In the cruiser, I used an ENTIRE 2.8L tank, just on the front passenger footwell. But it had some fungus growing, and had been full of mud from being used as a 4WD for many years. I can do that floor again, and it will still pull mud out. However, the water now only looks dirty, not pitch black and leaving full sludge in the bottom of the tank it sucks back into. Oh, and, this is about a $1500 unit.
