Guest MFX_R33
Even 1.2 bar on the RB20 should be fine if it is tuned properly. i have run that on my internally standard RB25 (but it is past the efficiency of my turbo), without a problem. whatsisname
EVOIV, I can't remember exactly as it was 4 mnths back but from memory it was ~$120 for the widest option @ longest length. I think? I can't report on its success yet as it's still waiting for the new motor before I fit it. With the Microtech handset (intake temp reading) I'll be able assess "part" of its value fairly quickly though. GTS-t VSPEC
INASNT, Hold your damn horses:p I've got the pics, will transfer them onto the computer tonight. Steve, Just had my GT30 tuned, made 368rwhp at 13psi:D I'm very happy with the result, didn't want to push it any further on the stock internals. RS500
GTS-T VSpec, which GT30 core and housings do u have on your engine? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23284-hks3037s-56t-retune/page/3/#findComment-503911 Share on other sites
GTS-t VSPEC
It's the 500hp GT30, think it has the 0.68 housing. With the manifold I had made I can fit the 600hp or 700hp turbo later down the track if I need more power:D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23284-hks3037s-56t-retune/page/3/#findComment-503953 Share on other sites

RS500
hehe, with that kind of power, i'm sure you'll definitely improve on the 13.5. with a good setup, that should be 11s material. GTS-t VSPEC
INASNT, It's the 500hp GT30 with the 0.68 housing. Screamer sounds awesome:D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23284-hks3037s-56t-retune/page/3/#findComment-504029 Share on other sites
RS500
gts-t, I'm not sure that garrett makes a .68 exhaust housing. are you sure it's not the .64? also, how quick/slow does boost/power build up on your engine? GTS-t VSPEC
Haha, yeah, I think your right, my bad:( Full boost at 4000rpm, but we 've taken timing out to make less power, as the internals are stock at the moment, with more timing we can get it on earlier:D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23284-hks3037s-56t-retune/page/3/#findComment-504066 Share on other sites

Steve
Nice result Paul, have to post up a dyno sheet, and some photos of the install:D Dont worry about the internals, they are good for over 400rwhp with a good tune. hehe, with that kind of power, i'm sure you'll definitely improve on the 13.5. No bloody way, he wont have any traction now;) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23284-hks3037s-56t-retune/page/3/#findComment-504240 Share on other sites
Steve
Paul, is it possible you have a 0.78 turbine housing? cos you seem to be making more power at less boost, but alot higher in the rev range - all points to a turbine AR a bit bigger than mine, which is only 0.61. Oh and dont forget to go see rotormotion:D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/23284-hks3037s-56t-retune/page/3/#findComment-504305 Share on other sites
