well, people will find out where the cruise is going when they get handed the maps, if you want more info beforehand you will have to ask via PM, as we dont like to advertise on here where we are headed.

this cruise has a major hills section :)

my advice from running cruises.. give a general idea where its going, how many kms, approx time it will take, stops, types of roads, etc. then people will be will be like 'oh yeah sounds good, havnt done a cruise that way/those types of roads for a while'. instead of 'oh another random cruise, woop dee fricken doo'.

been doing cruises for the last 3 years or so. take my advice or leave it.

this is Kellies 7th cruise and she always gets a good turnout, so i think we will keep doing it the same as every other time, and as said many times before if people dont like it they can make their own cruises.

Steve, your a funny little SOB :)

yeah do whatever works i guess.

last few cruises of this nature ive been on.. and i dont mean this in a negative way.. so people dont get all emo, its constructive cristism.. but they seemed very dull. meet spot was good, plenty of parking and no cop hassels. but i mean down to outter harbour and back. nothing to see, roads are average. then ended up down the bay, which seems a bit poser. dont think we even made it to the hills. or might have been the very start of the express way. but i was like thats cool, something different to hills once in a while. next cruise i went on was nearly identical. so yeah not keen on coming out to do the same drive or similar around suburbs. i do plenty of that during week on the way to work :)

i think when people are asking general direction they mean... like is it heading to murray bridge, gawler, victor.. etc very general but at least they know roughly where its going. this way can organise when they gota leave home, where they could possibly meet half way or branch off to go home.

nothing more dissapointing than rocking up to a cruise thats going from suburb to suburb :D

this is why i was asking, ive got a 21st on that night so was just trying to calculate etc.....

now boys and girls i have said this many times befor and so has chad, if it's so god dam easy make your own cruise but in the 2 months or so that i stopped stevep there was no cruises so from my experiance if you dont like them dont come also i would like to say that it seams to only be the people that come out on my crusies once or twice that complain all the others seam to be fine

let me give you a run down

* it took me and chad 2 hours to do this map

* i will be printing these in my own time 50 maps this =100 pages

* i will then staple all of them in my own time

so now the question is if i have done 7 rounds as each round reps a new map and we have used the same maps a few times, i have done

*total of 15 cruises

* each cruise has average of 50 maps

* each map has a average of 2 pages

* 7 rounds each taking 2 hours

so how much time do i put in to give you guys something to do and never charge you for the maps but i seam to always listen to peoples bull shit about the cruises

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I STOPPED DOING THEM

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I STOPPED DOING THEM

But its people like me that is the reason why you still do them

:D

Hey Kellie, if you wanna drop by our new house before the meet (we're not far) I can PM you the addy, and we'll cruise up with you. Gives you an excuse to see Tracy's new sparkle  BTW Tracy likes your watch :P

why not double print the pages. thats what i do. saves half the paper and no staples :D

i know it kinda sucks organising cruises coz its all ur own time and money to do it. but i mean its only a few pages and a test run of the cruise. if u love cruising its nothing.

also.. use full stops in ur posts lol.

sorry guys i wont be out for this one as the car is still defected.

a few things to fix and then it will be all so sweet so give me till the next cruise or so then i will be there.

have a good one anyway

Sorry steve mate but i really dont seen the point in jumping into a thread and do nothing but bag both the cruise and pretty much person organising it! Kelly organises the cruise's how she pleases and thats why we love her and the cruises. I know each person has the own opinion and there intittled to that but sometimes there just not needed.

Don't worry kelly Im sure were gunna love the cruise as always!!!!

    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
