I'll try and check it out next time I'm around there. I've been on the hunt to find the best crispy/fried chicken in WA for some time now. :D So far a local Chinese Restaurant 'Wing Ho' holds the title.

lol Brandon, i must try this crispy fried chicken...

cheers Sunny for the comments, glad you enjoyed the bubble tea...

now everyone i'm going to organise a cruise with the shop as the first or last meetpoint, and as for pricing of food and bubble tea my sister has thought that for $15 you can get a chicken kebab (that comes with awesomely marinated chicken, lettuce, tomato and your choice of sauces) a regular sized bubble tea and some nibblies... just to try out everything we make there...

was just wondering if anyone was up for it and yeah if i could get a show of hands, give me some time to organise a cruise too.. she's open from 11am - 7pm so anytime between those hours should be fine

please post your comments, business is starting to pick up and we don't want you guys to know about it and not have had an opportunity to enjoy the food!

cheers!

Andrew :)

Andrew

Im up for that. Hey make it 20 bucks... starting business she needs the money!

Later when she gets succesful, then she can give us discounts.

Just call me up, and ill b there.

Brendan, you're too nice...

people please if i could have a show of hands as to who's interested so i can let my sister know... also if anyone knows a suitable time we should cruise (when you guys don't have work/uni/other)

cheers peeps!

Andrew

Sounds great i would be up for that!!!!!!!!!

With those hours you would most prob be better making it a day cruise and stop buy there for lunch.

We usually get a good show of people on a day cruise if posted early enough.

If you after a show of hands then i would suggest starting a new topic in the cruise section for a weekend cruise plus stop for lunch on the way.

Just my 2 cents

Cheers.............

yeah i will do...

i'll do that asap, just at uni about to head into a lecture so might post it tonight or tomorrow for two weeks from now probably...

if anyone has time, feel free to come down and try some food... it's awesome :D

:)

i will make a new thread for a cruise and stuff...

street name though i think is Koondoola Avenue in Koondoola

easiest way to get there, from;

SOUTH

head on Mirrabooka Avenue towards Marangaroo Drive [ONLY TOWARDS] you will be met with Beach Road (intersection of Beach Road and Mirrabooka Avenue) with Mercy College diagonally on your right hand side...

keep driving straight, at the next right turn (it's a roundabout) turn right and it's behind the BP Petrol Station named Munch And Sip (in the shopping complex - or plaza, ironically named Koondoola Plaza)

NORTH

head on Mirrabooka Avenue towards Boyare Avenue [ONLY TOWARDS] after Marangaroo Drive, the first left at the roundabout (turn left) and once again, it's behind the BP Petrol Station named Munch And Sip (in the shopping complex - or plaza, ironically named Koondoola Plaza)

please tell me if you can't understand this, and i'll try my best to explain etc...

also, when you go just tell my sister you know me off the forum or SAU and depending on how she feels she might be able to work something out, usually she just puts extra care in what she makes to ensure you guys super enjoy your food!

:D

^ LOL TOM!

that's my auntie's deli... my sister's shop is a few shops down but yeah that's basically where it is...

phone number is to my auntie's shop so don't call there, i have a phone number for anyone that wants it but i won't disclose it here for obvious reasons, thanks

how does the 27th of September for a cruise and lunch/dinner sound?

my last afternoon cruise well there were frankly too many cars out for us to have enough fun and games so maybe if you like, we can have dinner and then have a night cruise?

that's the date i'd like to make it though, if all the peeps that have registered interest could please let me know if they'll be free on that day (it's a Saturday) and what time they'd like it to be i can get organise and prep some things up...

yeah any suggestions would be good, i need a show of numbers and i'll also be sending pm's to those that have shown some interest, and by the way, friend's and family are welcome too... of course though the cruise will be performance car based just like most cruises lol

advice please peeps, look forward to hearing all your comments, much appreciated

cheers,

Andrew :P

27th is good

make a meet point and we can all cruise in..

or is their limited space at ur sis's place? if there is a registered list of people coming would be good. So ur sis knows ahead how many poeple are coming and can prepare everything..

Also if there is a big group, u could organise it for a "quiet" time in the day... i.e not lunch hr. So it would b less disruptive for her business.

Make it a lunch time thing i recon...

but either way it wont phase me.

So count me in!

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
