I emailed Greenline.jp this morning at 10:12am and got a nice reply by 10:20pm.

They seem perfectly fine from me and will certainly be pocketing some of my cash soon as my money tree sprouts up.

Yeah, it's one thing to enquire, another to buy. Dont want to slag off any businesses, but I'm on another froum and have asked several times if anyone has bought from them, any experiences etc. No one answered. So dj_l3thal is the first one I've heard who's bought from them.

i have bought about 400 bucks of stuff from greenline. I dealt with simon, but he has had recent health problems and as such there is no longer a Australia based representative. With my previous dealings, i was very happy. This was a kind of 'test' to me; 400 dollars is alot but in comparison to something like a PFC, it is not much.

I have recently ordered a whole lot more from Greenline, and have been dealing with Jason in Japan. He has always been prompt with his replies. The parts however have been on order for about a month now, and as far as i'm aware they have not left japan. Jason tells me that this is due to the the manufacturer (TRUST), but all the other parts are ready to leave. As a kid waiting for new toys, i am itching to get my go fast bits :D

I've purchased items off both Nengun and Greenline before, PFC, Injectors, Cam gears etc.. Both are better prices than any local shop in perth can do, and they are usually really quick in getting the items down to me.. I get a quote off both and chose the one who is either cheapest or can get the stuff I need quicker. Taka is also a great place to do business with...

Cheers

Brett

Ronin 09, that;s exactly what I'm concerned about. I was going to order a whole heap of stuff from Jason (have spoken to Simon as well b4 his accident) but before I did the transfer, I got a friend of mine to check his NAB account. What he found was that heaps, and I mean heaps of dough was going into his personal account, BUT nothing was being sent to Japan. That really concerned me, and I decided not to do the transfer. Now it might be true that some parts (eg the Trust stuff) are on back order, but if you think about it, there MUST be some ppl who ordered items that are readily available in Japan and should be shipped promptly. His account was checked 2 weeks ago.

    • Did you pay with a credit card? I'd be putting a charge back through then finding a new sparky to sort it out.
    • If you mean the alarm immobiliser; theyre internal to the alarm itself which makes that difficult; I couldnt even see where he put it; its not in the same place as last time; but with all black wiring it might be very challenging to trace  I had someone turn the key for me as I know it only primes for a couple of seconds As my post above; I am getting no voltage to the pump at all; but I am testing continuity of the power line (SB) from the pump plug to the relay fine. As well as the negative from the pump plug to a 12V constant.    Yeah; he blammed the no start on a bad battery; said I needed to get a new battery and it'll start. Turns out the battery drained because the tail lights had been on for half the day during the install (the rubber cushion on the brake switch gave out while he was testing it as I have a picture of the car from that morning with the tail lights off..i've replaced that). The battery was turning over the engine just fine for a long time; but got low since lights were draining it so it was too low to test a start after he finished. I bought a new one on his advice...$250 wasted. My original battery charged up just fine and is healthy.    It was running perfectly fine when I messed up the old alarm (programmed out the remotes). He couldnt start it after removing the old alarm; my assumption is that when he unhooked it; he didnt bridge the circuit back when trying to start it. Its always been perfectly fine. The ECU swap and pump were 2 years ago. It's never missed a beat in that time.
    • This is a big issue for me without the diff. I just have zero drive from the passenger side when drivers side has no traction. Bec's parents place has a crazy steep driveway with odd camber and I have never been able to get up. My bro-in-law's 130i with an (unknown brand) LSD gets up fine as does their dad's Hiace. My car stays at the bottom. We have other odd camber roads around here as we're elevated a bit and if it's raining I can get totally stuck around some hairpins.
    • Yeah, I am super excited for this.
    • Was the car running before he touched the car?
