Hi guys, whenever I take my R33 GTS-T out for a drive and back, I always hear lots of ticking sound in the engine bay area when I turn off the ignition of the car. The ticks will slowly die off after the engine bay is cooled. Is it normal? or it is time to do something about it? It's a 1996 R33 GTS-T. Thanks!

the ticking sounds are in every car.

When metal gets hot it expands, when you turn off the car, the metal starts to cool down causing the ticking sound.

Thats why the sound goes away once the car is cooled as the metal has stopped contracting.

Double check this by taking another car out for a drive and listening to the engine bay, see if it sounds the same as on your car.

If it is, then there are no problems
