i know this might be a dumb question but i have thrown a rb26dett in my r32 gtst but i ran out of funding for a stronger gear box haha i am just curious how long the rb20 gear box will hold out? engine isnt modded that much yet just tomei cams with some internal work and runnin 14pound mostly?

My Rb20 box died within a couple of months of putting the 30 in and that's only making 183rwkw at the moment.. I think it was the 2nd gear clutch drops that killed it in the end!

The 20 box is good for about 350hp.

It also depends on how you drive it.

Sidestepping at 8 grand won't be doing it any favours........
