got a beltronis 930.....detected 50+ highway patrols in NSW they had no idea works with LASER to worth the xtra $ to get beltronics........

hi guys,

the only bands you'll need the radar detector to be capable of detecting are the K and Ka bands. australia police dont use x band, so you can mute that one on your radar if possible, as it is not only are anoying in the city, but its useless to have it on.

In the states of NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, ACT & TAS the police only use the K band radar and also the laser. Whereas in WA and NT they use BOTH the K and Ka band radar and also the laser.
