If the club show any sign of innactivty in regard to assisting in the matter, get a nice letter sent from a lawyer/barrister advising legal action is to be taken out against them as they failed to provide a duty of care or seek to settle out of court for an amount that will cover the cost of the damage + out of pocket expenses etc...

Maybe drop an email to the today/tonight program to get some publicty, as you know they love stories related to drunks / nightclubs / pubs and youths of late. :)

Personally i carry a very large metal torch in my car like a big maglight, very solid aluminum implement which will be wrapped around the head of anyone who dares to touch my car without permission.

I have no hesitation to use it, or if that is not in reach my steering wheel lock usually is :D

just hang around tonight and tomorrow night and see if you can spot them, or people carrying on like f**kwit's.

get your AK and f**k them hoe's up.

every one knows how i feel about imperial spanners

sorry mate i can't help my self but that comment has got me fairly fired up, are you fighting Down Syndrome or what ? Like you would have to be a complete fkn retard to post something like that up for every one to read. who says "get your AK and f**k them hoe's up." seriously? even if it was intended as a joke it is just completely stupid.

its the little things like this that get me banned from most forums. come on guys lets think about sh*t before we post it. there is alot of people reading this stuff and not every one is at your interlect level

so driving home from work lastnight with a mate.. and a whole bunch of drunk dicks scream out of the boho bar on unley rd i think it was. so we stoped and then took off again... only for them to turn on us... 1 throwing a bottle and smashing my rear windscreen. another kicking the side of my door in pretty badly ( cracked the paint in 2 spots) and another kicking the bonnet and scraching it,

its pretty bad dent pics as follows.. if any one could refer me onto any1 that would be great. cheers.

Sorry to hear bout this happening to ya, seems to be happening more and more often. It happened to me as well, 1st week of owning my stagea it got booted in by random guys outside a pub while I was sober driver 4 mates. Police didn't help me out and they even tried to say my mates would have provoked them into doing it. Now I just get a taxi

I LIKE YOU SO MUCH BETTER WHEN YOU'RE NAKED.

lol I liked the AK comment - I sort of figured you played BattleField 2?? :)

I say get grab a set of defibrillators and fry their sorry arses'

haha yea it was a joke. i don't really own an AK or f**k hoes up, but i would try and spot the same people. he might remember a face or two. i doubt it though. probably wouldn't take that kind of stuff in when your baby is being attacked.

it sure is bullshit. i hope they can get ran over trying to pull the same shit off.

    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
    • Yeah, I would have said the same. It makes me suggest that there are other things wrong, such that the ECU is totally unhappy with the broken sensor. The only other thought here is that maybe it is shorted, which might cause a different issue to the typical "disconnected" sensor.
