Give all the details to your insurace company and they will do all the chasing for ya Shaz.

you might or might not have to pay your excess first.

sometimes you have to pay your excess first but you get back if its 100% other person's fault which in this case it is

so your better of letting your insurance company deal with the stuffing around.
