R34 Gtr To ?

Greetings all,

Looks like the time has come to sell my GTR. Reason being because im moving out and would prefer to clear up all my debts before this. Now i wanted to move to a more practical car, and didn't particularly want to move to something like a commodore. I was thinking of purchasing a JZX100.

My question is what are peoples experiences with these cars?

Hows economy?

How is it as a daily driver?

How is the car overall?

I know at the end of the day its my decision, just would like to see how everyone else reacts to them?

Having owned a 1j Soarer, the economy is about as good (or bad) lol as an RB26. Good reliable engines, but u will find that engine mods ie bolt on turbos and ecus are harder to get than the Non VVT models.

Hard to trade-up to anything after an r34 gtr.

I went to test drive an s2000 and a bmw m3 e46 and they just dont have the 'smile on your face' effect of a mildly tuned gtr.

As a practical car i hate it; the turning circle is wide and nose is too low and I cant park it anywhere without requiring anti-anxiety medz and cigarettes lolz.

Never driven a JZX but funny thing is if i were to sell my gtr i would buy a VTI honda jazz with CVT tranny; that was a great car.

Yeah im not looking at it as trading up (because theres not too many cars i would consider a tradeup to my car), but because im moving out soon want to start off with a clean slate, but still want to have a nice car. So its a little hard for me to decide at the moment.
