100 Octane

hey guys yesterday went motor bike ridin and when i went to the servo to put some juice in the bike i noticed that united had 100 ron. i dont usually use united but i only did cause it was for my bike and it was close to home, anyone no/ tried it and is it any good?

I use Shell V-Power racing a fair bit which is 100RON and its awesome. Car runs smoother with less knock in the upper revs

Anything over 98 Ron currently uses 5% Ethanol.

Ethanol is like an octane booster, so petrol containing ethanol is usually a higher Ron rating.

I hear BP is the best and I know for a fact Liberty is bad.

well their fuel is generally from 1 of the big brands anyway, so it could be just the same as the shell stuff.

ive used there 98 octane, pretty much the same in my car anyway, but i'm running nearly stock.... the 100 octane is meant to be available at blacktown sunnyholt road united survo..... if i'm in the area i'll give it a go.... also i recon shell 98 is worse than united 98,,, shell makes my car run rough,,,, all the other brands seem to be the same in my car but generally i use mobil and caltex
