Are you telling me you need to get your speedo calibrated as soon as you drive out of the showroom, dont be ridiculous.

Almost every speedo out of the show room will not be 100% accurate.

Normally the speedo will indicate a speed higher then what you are actually travelling.

I believe it to be a subliminal safety measure.

I have heard this also

mate dont listen to anyone and fight it. court fees are like $50 so who gives a damn if you lose.

youd b suprised how lenient judges can be. and for 3km over the limit, i would be veryyyy suprised if the judge didnt throw it out for u.

friend got caught driving an unregistered car (recieved a $1500 fine), went to court, pleeded a section 10 (i think) and got off without having to pay a cent.

moral of the story $50 court fee is well worth the risk. worsttttt case scenario you wil be down another 50bux.

good luck dude, and im sure youl b fine :D

No, that is one of the better scenarios. Worst case scenario is that the penalty that can be issued by a court is subtantially higher than that issued by police on the roadside.

Annoy the magistrate with a trivial court appearance and it can turn sour.

Roll the dice.

At the magistrates discretion the fine can be increased.

I know.

its 3km/hr over, which would be wat an 81$ fine?. what the hell r they gonna increase his fine to?

mate personally ide definately argue it, im sure ur more concerned with the points then the actual Fine, so why not argue it :(

The fine actually can change quite a bit depending on discretion, which depends on the judge.

Not sure if you can find the law online, it will be in law books

I agree with a previous poster, if you go to court its like rolling a dice, if the magistrate is having a good day you'll be fine, if not then it may not end so well...

Old radar guns- law had a 10% leaniency to recorded speed & due to speedo variation of vehicles

New guns are Lidar, use light spectrum analysis to detect speed and have a high degree of accuracy, error margin is less than 5%, 3% I think

The only way around is as previously stated, A Judge in good mood or possibility of the charge becoming a civil matter in which no points are lost but fine increases. Not sure whether this law has been amended, but worth ago-maybe?

In any case speak to a lawyer unless someone on here is a Judge/Lawyer/Police Prosecutor

I would still just pay the fine & take it on the chin as my f*kup as p*ss*ng on the cops will get you nothin but grief-sorry to be blunt

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
