I was sitting in a hj's drive through this morning and when ever i activated my power windows my car's rev's would dip to almost stalling. I'm wondering if this could be caused by my altinator??

Also if i am driving along at night with headlights and stereo on and i press the brake pedal to stop my stereo will reset sometimes, could these 2 things be related?

My car starts every morning and the battery is only a few months old.

Any help would be much appriciated :P

Is there anything else about your car that has changed stereo or electrical wise? I have a V35 and I started getting wierd problems like that when I upgraded my sound system. The battery was simply too weak to handle it. I bought an optima yellow top and all of the strange power issues vanished.

I'm no expert, but that's my 2 cents. Hope that helps.

Have you got a multimeter? If so start your car and put it on the terminals of the battery It should read between say 13.8 to 14.4ish of the top of my head if it is around that it won't be your alternator....

Maybe a dead plate/ cell in the battery even though it is new... also check what volts the battery has before you start it... Most ECUs wont work properly with less then say 9 to 10 volts

or big drop in amps.. Take it back to the place you bought it and get them to do a load test on it..

Hope that helps.

    • This is what I could find on Minkara which has at least something on pretty much anything to do with the Japanese car industry. It had all HVAC including A/C still fitted (A/C condenser and radiator were moved to the boot) and it ran a 9.7 sec quarter mile. Somewhat of a legend among GT-R and drag enthusiasts then and now. If you're wondering if it was a reputable shop, then yes it was.
    • Are you guys familiar with this shop? Sounds like you might have come across Fujii?

    • Hey guys I’m looking to buy an r32 gtr and it looks like the shop who’s done some work on the motor was done at Fujii Dynamic in Japan. Looking to find if anyone is familiar with this shop since there not much info I could find.    All I could find was the owner has passed away early 2000s and had previously owned a 1000hp r33 for drag racing.
    • GTR front looks good. If you don't like it, I'll swap you a rolling shell R33 for it. Give you a fresh base to start with.
