Stock R33 front/rear bar

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a stock front and rear bar for my R33. I posted in WTB, but I'm just generally wondering if I should bother looking at wreckers, and if there are any on on the North Shore because I reckon that'd be the cheapest.

I don't really wanna buy a non-standard looking one because I like the look of the stock one.

i have a standard silver front bar off a series 1. needs some minor repairs at the bottom.only $150 call me if ur interested. im in sydney.

In about 1-2wks i'll have my standard rear wine red bar available.

Im currently in the process of having a 400R bar painted/fitted.

hey walkoau: thanks for your offer, excellent price but i'm looking for an S2 one unfortunately.

benm: i'll get back to you about that, i'm interested. i'm going to bring my car into a repair place and see if the dents can be repaired or if they suggest i buy a new one.

if you take it to a proper bumper place (the places that offer exchange/ reconditioned bars) they will have no problem repairing it. i seen a plastic bumper bar off some rare car (cant remember what it was) and it was smashed to pieces but they fixed it up better than new.

would you have any idea of the price? i was quoted approx 1500 for front, rear + fit + spray for both bars.

i'm hoping it's <1000 to repair both + touch up paint or whateve they can do

all i know is the price of a second hand r33 4 door rear bar is $650 and i had to learn from the hard way.

a stupid 19yo girl with no insurance and no job ran up the arse of my car in a vn commodore last week. and im heaps pissed off about it. ive been trying to contact her for a week and all i get is an answering machine.

she did a total of $4800 damage to my rear end!!!!!!!!!

by the way do u happen to have a rear bar off a coupe lying around cause i need to find out if a coupe one will fit mine, cause then i will know if i can get a veilside copy rear bar to fit the 4 door.

Mine will be off and sitting "spare" hopefully by this weekend.

Its about a 15min job to take the std rear bar off.

I think $1000 could be a good price, I paid $400 for a respray only of front bumper.....good smash repair jobs are not cheap
