oh yer fully hectic dorifto. The lenso's look tuff, got them on the car yet?

well the lenso's are way to hetic to go any where near a car.

na im waiting to get some brand new rubber on them for round 2.

funnly enough most people have commented on the lenso's and they are the bloody cheapest pair. i was originally going to get a full set of them but they were out of stock so then i got the origins then the lenso's were back in stock.

i just can win. any way the lenso's will be as common as drift techs soon so i wont be buying any more.

i will post up some pics of it once i roll it out side.

how heavy are the 'lenso's' damo?

cant say :)

na they are 11kg each no tyres.

the cst are 10kg each

and i didnt weigh the DNA's

i really really want a set of r33 GTR rims for circuit racing but im not sure how much difference 4-6kg weight difference will make lap time wise.

the $1000 spent on them may be better put to wards a bigger turbo or bigger better brakes.

i gess they will come but one thing is for sure r32GTR rims are mega light. i love them the best but would prefer to run 17x 9" rims.

big pics update.

ive been updating other threads but not this one cos im lazy.

cage is now in and half painted.

r34 brakes are on 100% now just need to flush and bleed system.

Pics of the D1R's fitted

Ben at SPG sourced me some wide body rear guards >_< but they wont see the car for a while.

and i picked up a spare Rb25 gear box, OS Giken clutch and GTR cooler core thanks to Rons Automotive.

ive been working on my car over the past few weeks.

today i made a bull bar.

then i made a rear bumper bar

DSC01479.jpg

but i thought it looked a bit gay so i ran some fluro string lines between them and wala i had a string for wheel alignments at the track

DSC01482.jpg

and also some ramps to get the car just far enough off the ground to adjust front or rear toe.

i dug up this old photo from my first event.

and what it looks like now

and even thoe this is a budget car ive found some budget carbon fibre so its making its way into the car every where.

    • The issue now is the 'fuel cut' while driving, and when it happend, it does not stall. This, I did not test the fuel pressure while driving as I cannot with a fuel pressure gauge. I do have Nistune logs, yes. I have also replaced the MAF Sensor.   Also related to the FPG Fuel Hanger – I just realized that I need a Deutsch Crimp Tool to crimp some cables for the FPG Fuel Hanger. Need to purchase additional cables as the kit only included 2, which are for the float. FPG has not responded to my emails so far since purchasing. I thought about taking it to someone and having it done professionally, but I am reluctant since everyone I took it to messed up in some way.
    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
    • I would say no, why, because my daughter, who also lives in Goulburn, hasn't recommended us going there Pity, as we miss all the German joints around in Sydney, actually, the restaurants are the only thing I really miss about Sydney, and a special mention to Ishibanboshi at Bondi Junction, their Kara-age Don is heart cloggingly deliciousness (always added a special boiled egg...or 2) 😋
