Its kool man, ok well i got a dump pipe already, picked up split stainless steel one for 160. but that sounds good. Is there realli any difference between a metal and ceramic. i saw this one on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...E:X:RTQ:AU:1123

let me knwo wat you think apparently its flow is 550

your all leading him up the garden path....

refer post #9

then use post #2

and problem solved.

if your missues wont let you i have a $400 metal cat with very low kays ready to bolt on for $150

flows over 700cfm, best you can buy

pm me if your keen

Don't want to hijack the thread but does anyone have one of Am Performance's Split Dump front pipes?

If so, are they better value than the cheaper JJR ones sold in the trader section?

you cant compare the quality picture for picture they look the same but look @ the metals used and you will know Andrew only uses quality australian stainless not the cheap chinese rubbish

all flanges are stainless as well not like jjr dumps

Andrew is local so...

1) your supporting local business

2) if something is a miss then you can ring him and he will fix it till your happy

better value is hard to put a short term price on is $360 better value than $200 in the short term a lot of people would say no

i however say yes, and im not the only one but you (being anyone) need to make your own mind up

Or you could grab a 33 GTR factory metal cat, run one in mine, bout $100 from a compliance place. Good flow too!

ive said that basically everytime a cat converter thread has popped up.

1. go to compliance workshop.

2. purchase factory GTR cat.

3. ????

4. profit.

basically, gtr cats are win, and they cost f**k all as theyre normally binned when GTR's are complied.

Cheers. If it's built better and from better materials then in my book that's better value even at $360

Dave is correct, only prob is trying to find an original GTR Cat cause all the ones you see that are complianced and stock standard have an aftermarket crappy one on them.

Like Dave said, go to an import house that does compliancing and start sifting thru their bins like a homeless person.

    • You'd want to cap off the re-entry back into the dump too. Just something flat that can be held on by the Vband.
