I have decided to sell my BBS LM 18 x 10 ET20 rims.

They are fitted with Kumho V700 ecsta road race 265/35/18 tyres that still have tread - a couple are over the wear indicators but being a road race tyre they certainly have a 2 - 3 more track days left in them. These rims suit the GTR's very well

**NO GUTTER RASH** the only marks are from the wheel alignment machine - doh (see pics)

Gold paint and general condition good - each individual wheel is pictured and also the tread left pictured.

Price - $2800

Location - Brisbane

Terms - buyer can pickup if local or arrange freight at their expense

Contact - Jono 0408 600 008 or via Pm

If you had put these up for sale 4 months ago I would have bought them in a heartbeat!

These wheels are worth $2040 each brand new and have a 3 month wait to get them. I know this because I ordered a pair last year and am expecting them in March.

damn mate you got ripped hard? there was another set that just got sold 18x9 for $1800. dunno where your buying from mate. they are good wheels but don't htink they are that good for 2000 each.

Only the new 20's for the R35 are that expesnsive and you paid 2K a corner for 18's :) What are they made of ...unobtainium?

Their full model name is BBS LM ACQ for Air Craft Quality. Not quite unobtainium but bloody expensive. Here are the prices from BBS Japan where they are made: http://www.bbs-japan.co.jp/pro/pro_i.html Do the currency conversion, add shipping & customs + mark up and you'll find the 20" for the R35 GTRs are much dearer.

1st - I own a R32 GTR and all 4 wheels need to be the same size. I damaged 2 so only needed to replace a pair of 18x10 +20. My tyres are too wide for 18x9.

2nd - I didn't get ripped off. I'm insured. The insurance company is paying for them. This is the website for the Australian BBS distributor - check out the prices for the LMs. http://www.amgaustralia.com/AMG/

The point of my original post was to help jonnyo and potential buyers in pointing out how much a set of these would cost brand new and the waiting time for delivery. His are in good nick so his price is very reasonable. I'm still waiting for my pair to arrive from Japan.

Good luck with the sale.

Yes I read the post that Sewid left regarding the wheels too, horray for you...I'm not gunna argue. Free bump for nice wheels and last post for me in this thread.

Thanks for the backup on the great build and massive cost to buy these wheels Writeoff! They are awesome wheels and yes they are in great condition.

These will suit 33 GTR's as asked above perfectly and really fill the gaurds.

    • Oh dear. The panel beating needs to be done before the filler work. Do you have a photo of the dent before you started? Hard enough to not flex and only hit the high spots?  What do you mean it was just temporary?
    • Can u check this way it works for power supply?
    • These coils draw 10amps that what i read online
    • I appreciate the detailed explanation, think I understand now. I spent the better part of last night reading what I could about shuffle and potential solutions. I had replaced the OEM twin turbo pipe with an alternate Y pipe that is separated further away from the turbo. The current one is from HKS and I had a previous pipe that was separated even further away, both have shuffle. I had heard that a divider can be welded in to the OEM pipe to remove turbulence, and figure that aftermarket pipes that are more separated would achieve the same thing. From what I read, most people with -10 turbos get shuffle due to their size, though it's a bit less common with -5s on a standard RB26. I think Nismoid mentioned somewhere it's because OEM recirculation piping is common in Australia with -5 cars. It seems that the recommendation tends to vary between a few options, which I've ordered in what I think is most feasible for me:  1. Retune the MAP or boost controller to try to eliminate shuffle 2. Install OEM recirculation piping 3. Something called a 'balance pipe' welded onto the exhaust manifolds. I don't know if kits for this are available, seems like pure fabrication work 4. simply go single turbo My current layout is as follows: Garrett 2860 -5s HKS Racing Suction intake MAF delete pipes HKS racing chamber intake piping hard intercooler piping,  ARC intercooler HKS SSQV BOV and pipe Haltech 2500 elite ECU and boost solenoid/controller HPI dump pipes OEM exhaust manifolds HKS VCAM step 1 and supporting head modifications Built 2.6 bottom end All OEM recirculation piping was removed, relevant areas sealed off I'll keep an eye out for any alternative solutions but can get started with this.  Only other question is, does shuffle harm the turbo (or anything else)? It seems like some people say your turbo shafts will explode because of the opposing forces after a while and others say they just live with it and adjust their pedal foot accordingly.
    • That worked out PERFECTLY! Thank you big time to JJ. He was able to swap me his stock diff. He drove all the way to me as well. Killer! Removal & install was pretty straightforward. The diff itself is HEAVY. So that’s a 2 man job.  Man does the car drive nice now! Couldn’t have worked out any better 👌
