scandyflick Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 hello all knowledgeable gods of the turbo world. now that we've got that out the way... i own an s14 200sx. and its needs a new turbo. been advised to look towards the GT28R/28RS models. but being fairly new to turbos (owned a V8 'yota before I came to my senses and bought a nissan), i really dont know where to start. so im just looking for some advice in regards to the pros and cons of each turbo, and any personal experiences with either. so yeah, thanks in advance. dave. I don't want to sound like a dick man, but have you had a look on the silvia sites? They would have more relevant info when it comes to the application on an SR20. You'd get some info here when applying to RB's, but an SR is a slightly different animal. PM-R33 Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) What power do you want to make? What are your current mods? Do you want the car to have a bit of response still? What is your budget modification wise? S15 Ball bearing turbo's are a good budget upgrade if you just need to replace a blown turbo and retain good response and decent power levels.
