Hi guys, my Rev needle just sit like that when i drive, or sometimes jump over the place.

my guess is that my cluster is f*k. But could it be anything else?

hey mate mine does the same. it sometimes sits where it should, other times climbs to seven grand, sometimes nothing. wierd.

i think its a poor earth fault. dont really care though... hah ha.

Mine does the same. Can't be bothered to get it looked at.

I'd say it's the solder behind the dash or something.

With me I replaced the Tacho dial itself each part of the clucter is replaceable independently. 200 bucks for a new Tacho though.

unplug the cluster and clean ALL the contacts with contact cleaner first. Sometimes it really is that stupidly simple. It may not fix it but it only takes 15 minutes and a $5 tin of contact cleaner to find out.

I had the same issue. It was the needle itself that was the problem.

It had been pulled out and damaged when put back in.

I just got a cheap cluster from a wreckers and swapped the

Tacho assembly. Works a treat now.
