Work work and work.

That and playing search for a car. Keep missing out on gtst's and I don't really see too much value in buying a GTR (which I really want) when I only really want a skidder :)

Should all chip in for a track car. 10k would get you a decent s13 split between however many wanna share would be decent value. Bin kickin the idea round with dad for the past 3 months but hes not too keen lol.

Devo! My old man is into race cars and has been competing most of his life, so it’s easy to convince him into that kinda shit :P

Tell the old boy it'll keep you off the streets :D

why dont we just convert your gtr into a track only one..

we can gut it out, and put in a rwd switch - its simple rlly - and cheaper than spending 10k on a sr

:D:P

we might have Joey from canada join us. he's in brissy atm and wanted to check out some local skylines

you know i love you long time..

should actually come out your 32 is pretty hot i seriously love the exhaust note... i dunno why its like that but your pretty fkin lucky...even if its running the wrong offsets on the rear! :D

hey hey hey dont say that shit out loud - its a secret!

ps ive notced that idol more - its hanging out on 1050rpm - plan to get it down to 850-900ish?

Ready for this epic multi quote post bitches :D

Yeah he complains cause I'm a poor flamin mongrel n he'll probably end up paying for it all. After I finished uni n get some decent moolah coming in we're gunna do a gutted gtr or something to slide.

I have a better idea. We can just throw a saddle on you shove the rear wheel drive switch up your arse n drift you round QR :)

Lol...thursday night meet at B&R !!! then car wash or just hang out !

Prob not since I've got this report to finish and I'm doing some epic procrastination...

you're a dog!

after everything i do for you

5 dorra sucky sucky?

I told you its idiling funny must be that motec exhaust system is the reason why ur leaning out in 2nd!

Nah its your fuel map its got a nasty hole, that's why you're unloading in 3rd. Unlengthen the injector pulse another millisecond, just tune the NOS timing, you'll run 9's

Hey guys...

Live around Mt Ommaney area...

Gota 32, AVG45 plates. Not out much really.

Yeah right on !!

Welcome :D

My epic procrastination has lead me to this project build on gtr.co.uk. This is what I aspire to lol.

My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
