Dan_B
Yachts normally go for more than that, probably needs some work for it to be sea worthy.... as for 31 coilovers, JIC did actually make coilovers for 31's. Also plenty of Datsun shops make coilovers from R31 struts....... but yer, i'd still love a 1970 C10 GTR skyline. Brandon
If it was sold I wonder how much was the selling price... for that price... You can get a VERY nice M-Spec/V-Spec2 Nur... or maybe top up a lil and get a Z-tune or a 35gtr... Smity42
as for 31 coilovers, JIC did actually make coilovers for 31's. Also plenty of Datsun shops make coilovers from R31 struts....... Technically, the stock suspension ARE coilovers just not height adjustable. As you well know, those JIC ones are 20 years old and shit. Making height adjustable coilovers from the standard strut, yeah it works, but I consider that 'custom'. Also, you still need decent inserts then to run in them, and you lose wheel clearance. Brandon
Yea I finished reading the whole thing but basically the main thing I've learnt is 1.3l twin rotary is actually 3.9l in displacement. And you cant really compare piston and rotary. Smity42
sure you can: piston = good rotary = blown apex seal Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261269-inner-west-crew-whoretown-toowongst-luciakenmoreindooroopilly-and-sometimes-sunnybank/page/234/#findComment-4838880 Share on other sites
Dan_B
yer rotarys arent as bad as they are made out to be, boost them hard and not build them right and they will give you nothing but trouble, a properly built one with moderate levels of boost last ok. Like 1000Hp from a 1.3 litre engine is crazy and no doubt will give you issues, same as trying to pump that level of power from a RB engine. Yer dave im teaching myself how to MIG weld, funny thing is my missus can weld better than me i will get a TIG once i learn the mig. martin, get the falcoon and a trailer and i will show you where it is Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261269-inner-west-crew-whoretown-toowongst-luciakenmoreindooroopilly-and-sometimes-sunnybank/page/234/#findComment-4838892 Share on other sites
