Inner West Crew Whoretown (toowong/st Lucia/kenmore/indooroopilly And Sometimes Sunnybank?)

I remember Noel used to say the same thing.....till his exploded while he was pushing just over half of its rated power, thus destroting his engine and gearbox, he is lucky he had a billet fly wheel or it probably would have gone too causing more damage

Non modular steel FTL

I defintely have a girl clutch. Its my daily driver and I spend a lot of time in traffic, sif man clutch.

+ it doesn't slip. Why have a heavier clutch when you don't need it?

For a non daily car though, man clutch all the way.

Hahaha. You're just jealous Andy! I wouldnt be saying that if I'm stuck in a traffic jam (e.g. coro drive).

I love my clutch and she loves me too. I like it gentle. :)

Its just a personal preference from me, I actually find high clamp with a light pedal a bitch to drive as i cant get a good feel, i like the pedal to be pushing back against my foot as i can fell the engage point better....perhaps i need more sensitive feet!

I'll give you that, it did take a little while to get used to.

I could go a little heavier for sure, but you don't know how heavy a clutch is going to feel till you have it installed, and I really didn't want one that was too heavy.

Brandon...stock clutches have the gays, seriously

Hahaha. I'll have to stick with it until sometime next year (unless I got a fat bonus)!

Plan for this year is major service and coilovers!

that is true!

People can buy what ever they like as long as it isnt an exedy 5 puck ceramic.....lighter pedal than stock and harder bite tham either of the twins i have owned, I loaned it off a friend till my twinplate went in and i had to drive in in sydney in peak hour with a car that had some sort of tune fail and wouldnt hot start....holy nerve wracking!

nice :) Ohlins?? ha ha

how much does a rebuilt Jim berry clutch cost? something for around 250kw? just an estimate would be good...

probaly at least as twice as much as what a NPC from Dan will cost

Does Jim still charge $1200 for the full monty?

Why does every one hate man clutches...if you dont stall at least once a trip you have a girl clutch

or you know how to drive :)

+1 for the man clutch.

if it's too much effort to press in the clutch pedal, hand your testicles back at the counter and go buy an autotragic commonwhore.

sissy-fag clutch FTMFL

LOL! Knew this would happen: http://www.news.com.au/world/kfc-ad-labell...i-1225816554071

Brandon there is also greddy type s that has a thing like the EDFC but to my way of thinking even better, you should check them out too! Im thinking if ditching my Teins for them!

Hopefully they remove the whole series of ads and fire the 'actor'. I hate sports themed commercials when it's got nothing to do with sport.

I don't think it's racist... I'm just trying to use it to my advantage to get rid of more sport from TV :)

Im also thinking about getting a set up similar to sydney kids bilstien set up...i dont know enough about suspension to need adjustability anyway lol

why would you want to remove sport from tv?? so we can see more awesome reality shows or perhaps more reruns of the simpsons and home improvement?

    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
