Definately love a good pole dancing conversation first thing in the morning.

Would prefer other things first thing in the morning though.

Morning mangs

Trip home last night was epic fail.

Dropped colon off at roma st illegally stopped in the bus stop - cops drive past.

Cops EVERYWHERE. Had one cop driving with us from about the hospital to chermside. And of course we got EVERY red light, and would end up lined up next to them and have to try to take off without drawing their attention

Then when we finally got rid of them, I pulled up next to some old slow sh*tbox V8 at a set of lights with the intention of boosting past them, look across and its another f*cking copper.

Then everywhere was shut for dinner, so I settled on the fact I would have to get dominhos, then the one at Petrie was closed as well! Had to go into Kallanger!

So the car is blowing hot air at me again. The hose is still on, temp sensor is still plugged in. Any other suggestions guys?

have you looked up the tutorial on how to make the a/c do a self diagnostic? That will tell you exactly what is wrong!

I shall do that now! Thanks, Andy :)

because im a nice guy i went and found it http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...old-t93814.html i have never needed it but my mate in sydney wrote it and he is a clever little bugger so im sure it will be helpful!

How many sports does Red Bull sponsor or are involved in?

Just watched some Red Bull ultimate break dance championships.

Is it just me or do they dance like bugs that have been sprayed with mortein and are in their deathrows ?

Red Bull are awesome with their sponsorship stuff. They pump a lot of cash into all the extreme sports. Much respect for them :)

Sucks mang. You didn't get any hassle for dropping me off did you?

I've had a shit morning lol. Got in work early to sort some stuff that I didn't do yesterday and then missed my bus to uni so I ended up missing the train as well so now I'm going to be an hour late for my lecture lols. The building manager for The Wave has gone on holiday so he decided to give complaining unit owners my number so I've had about 4 calls this morning bitching about rust spots on their balconies and cracks in the paint. So gay.

You're the kind of guy that in the days of yore, bards would have written songs about, and sung of your tales to their fellowkin over pints of the town's finest ale <3

I went through that thread, and a few things I googled. It appears my little trap door servo is of teh rooted. I seem to have rigged something up for now (cardboard isn't flammable isn't it? ). The test shall be shortly when I have to go out, and the engine is running.

I actually got awesome temp readings from all my sensors, so maybe all I need for my AC to work is a new compressor :)

+11ty. RB FTW

Yeah I got fined $350 . Joo owe me big time.

Naah jks :) they left me alone, obviously had better things to be doing.

That sucks. I've gotta do doco all day. And most of next week too. F*ck I hate doco :(

    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
