Inner West Crew Whoretown (toowong/st Lucia/kenmore/indooroopilly And Sometimes Sunnybank?)

Mine are good compared to driving with parkers on. That's about it lol.

niggah prease. I could see just fine with your lights on, and my lights OFF.

Don't expect to hear from him till monday night

Yeah I know, but was leaving it there for him to find. Turns out there's no such thing as a filter and ERD Dan thought I was on drugs. Quick phone call later he thinks my abs has raped my 4WD. Need to check sensors.

300HP out of the 20 should be pretty easy. Will only stop my nightmares if I don't ever have to do any work on the Z32.

Suggestions for reaching power target? I did so much research on VGs that now I don't know what to do with my RB.

NO work on it? What if it needs a bangin' stereo? :(

Who's Michelle?

Someone Tristan and I have both worked with

What toys?

These squeaky toys :P:D

yo

i got rid of my original lights (inc bulbs.) when i bought the blue ones

the bulbs in the original ones were those bluey ones they sell at repco for stupid expensive prices (for what they are)

my new bulbs are 100w ones (stock is 60w) - they are sexy, overnight parts from hongkong lol

@p.s. - yeh sure

@p.p.s. - yeeh had to dog - needed to pick up copper nut, and that involved a trip to manly lol

Think mine were hungee wottas too from memory. Probably using the same (or close to) what I used to have.

sweet

what was Colin doing at Manly? :P

soooo......

Avatar is a complete piece of boring ass shit. Only good thing about it was getting to see that silly mole Michelle Rodriguez die again. Predictable rehashed phone in hack of a movie.

How do I go about getting back the 2hs 41mins of my life? Does anyone have a flux capacitor?

euro disney epic fail

waste of $140 in entry fees. in terms of rides, movie world or dreamworld rate higher

anyways, it's 1:30 am, and i gots to be up at 5am for our flight to new york. shall have a look for a mets hat once there.

So glad I refused to ever watch a 3D movie about blue fairies, I'm going to use that 2h:41 and put it to good use....drinking

@ Andy:

What was the name of that RB management system that you were raving about a while ago that allows you to run without AFMs? Could I use it on my 20? And will it handle what I just said to Colin & Martin?

Adaptronic, though they are better for 4cyl applications as the e420c only has enough drivers to run a 4cyl in sequential spark. they have a e1280s now but i think it is around the same price as a vipec ect, the main advantage of a e420c was the pirce. it you are happy to run wasterd spark though the e420c is still a really really good computer, my old r33 is running happily on one

Thanks :(

Yeah, I would never have watched it if the GF hadn't. I got bored a few times and went off to make coffee and things, so it probably doesn't owe me the full 2:41, but pretty close :)

Thanks Andy. Don't know why I thought it was an RB one. I'll keep on the hunt :)

Thanks :(

vipec ftw

Cheers - I'll read up on them :)

btw - does anyone know how much mines ECUs go for for the 32? I got a dude wanting me to make him an offer on his, and I have NFI how much to say...

0$ they are for jap fuel and are really only useful to get rid of the speed limiter

Is that really the only benefit from it? What if it's mapped for Aus fuel?

you cant remap them, the eprom is covered in about 3 inches of epoxy so it cant be swapped out, the benefit is that on jap fuel they give you slightly better fuel and ignition maps and move the rev limiter and speed cut and the richen and retard part of the standatd ecu. But in Aus all it does is make the car run lean.

ok cool, thanks again :)

I'm reading up on Vipecs, but it's making my brain hurt. So much info!!!

    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
