Saturday night went out for dinner with family for Terri n Lees birthdays. Had epic steak and chips with salt and pepper calamari at Canungra pub and then Lee couldn't finish his steak so I got to eat that too. Couple of Beers and then home for ice cream cake. I was pretty much dead after that.

Steaks at Canungra are awesome, it was always a highlight of my quarterly routine servicing trips in my old job, the other highlight there was that one of the barmaids used to really like wang. Good times.

We should go out there for a drive one night. Steak a beer or two and then go check out the glow worms or go for a fang up to O'Reillys. :thumbsup:

that would be great, how long until you get your license back? Is it 2 lanes all the way to O'Reillys now? When i worked there it was only 1 for most of it :banana:

7 Weeks today mang. It's still 1 lane most of the way up but there might be a different way to get up there I'm not sure. I only know the way from canungra and the 4WD track.

Cool, im hoping my car will actually be done some time before then too so it can be a white GTR back on the road celebration party.

What happened to operation get-fit-playing-touch-footy-on-sundays?

After this weekend i can play on Sundays most of the time, I havnt been in Brisbane on a weekend yet this month so thats why i havnt worried about organinsing it! But once superlap is done with im good to go with the footy playing

I might have to join you guys with that. I promised mum I would do bridge to brisbane with her this year. She wants to do the 10km in under 1 hour 15mins bah...

Yeah thought it would be the only way up there. My GTR won't be back on the road till 2011 though and even then I'm not sure about it. If I move to a place with its own garage or I get to a point were I can afford 2 cars on the road and live out of home I'll put it back on the road. Until then I'll be rockin the dirty one :)

I am watching pacific. I am watching part VIII. I was asked if I had seen the V series. I said no that sci-fi show didnt really interest me. To which the reply was pacific isn't about sci fi, haven't you seen V3 and V4. ( VIII, VIV ). :)

I'm up to the last episode.

I thought the first 5 episodes were better than the last 5, or maybe that's just me. Still an awesome series.

My birthday tomorrow, no longer in the teens. :(

most of my planing for the project is done now, going to make a start on it this week.

i will start cleaning up around it so i can sand off the panels

no, turbo will be from Hypergear (TR43 - G2 trim) thinking an intake manifold/fuel rail from CPC and ecu from nistune. Rest of the setup is what i got lying around, intercooler piping will need to be sent out and made. I'll make my exhaust myself

What pisses me off is that Jessica Watson chick, why do I have to pay my good hard earned money for her welcoming party? Imagine how many police, security guards, portaloos, etc were hired for the event. I'm going to work out how much it personally will cost me and withhold it.

But right now I have Becks and the people at liquorland must have left it in the sun for too long, it tastes flat -_-

Anyone have any advice for getting seized bolts off calipers/wheel hubs? I've used every f**king socket and breaker bar I have + gone and bought new shit and still can't get the f**kers off... used heaps of the degreasing shit that has worked for me before, it gets in and breaks up the gunk. But not on either of these 2 bolts on my LF brake caliper. Gonna stab a kitten soon if I can't get it off.

Orrrrrr anyone wanna lend me a compressor + air tool kit? :):(

      They are in fact just nozzles. They are there only to produce a spray pattern and limit flow. The injector itself is what I use to control flow to the 7x nozzles. My old system had no injector and only PWM the pump. This lead to a lot of inconsistencies, and poor atomization at low pressure when the pump was ramping up.

      With the system, once you drive it for a bit, and before you turn the car off, does the car fix its date and time? When you say the date is wrong, what date does the vehicle think it is, and does it always show the same date? My thoughts from a process driven view is; The system may be defaulting to a standard start date/time. The main reason you'd typically see this occuring, is the system is losing its constant/backup power supply.   If its always defaulting to the same date/time at start up, and especially if it fixes itself while driving, I'd say either the non volatile memory has an issue, or the power supply to the volatile memory that stores this information.   The other thing I'd check is if there is anywhere in the system you can adjust the date and time from. If the date/time is still moving forward since it wished you happy new year, then it is 100% possible the system has just had a bit of data corruption occur, and you likely need to find a way to reset the date/time in the vehicle.

      Scissor Jacks are an accident waiting to happen, the only time they should be used are in an roadside flat, even then a tyre and rim should be placed underneath
