It sure is. I'm running the show today :whistling:

Oh btw I pressurised my intake piping last night, all my clamps etc were fine. The only thing I found was the line going to my boost gauge seems to be leaking. I unhooked it from the plenum and did it again, the only sound was now coming from that hookup at the back of the plenum. So some more vacuum hose on the way home from work this arvo and we'll see how she goes tonight.

Could that really be causing a few psi to leak though?

That's what happen to my car on the weekend, had no boost at all via the gauge, but car was fine, new hose and she's sweet. I suppose every little bit helps.

I have a leak somewhere too! Was driving along the other night and gave it its first real bootful for a few weeks and as it came on boost it sounded like a stock RB25 turbo (Ie Vaccume cleaner) and was slow as hell, Drives fine normally but so im gussing a split some where that blows open under high pressure then seals up ok at low pressure.

It could certainly make you guage read many PSI lower.

Would also potentially affect how the car runs. Anything with an AFM (ie skylines) will be particularly sensitive to boost/vac leaks.

Oh and screw black ops, get this into ya

Nice.

I removed my AFM and replaced it with a full baked bean can (clamp it in tight)

Then I pulled the cooler piping -> actuator vacuum hose and replaced it (on the piping nipple) with a bike tyre valve on a piece of hose and all clamped tight, then hooked that up the my compressor set @ 10psi.

Worked a treat, cost me $7 hahaha.

Oh, plus the baked beans. But now I'm gonna have them for lunch so it's win-win!

Tas called me last night and wanted to catch up. So i said yeah meet me near my place. So I walk down to the car park and there he is standing next to a black guy. I'm like its midnight, abandoned carpark with an asian and a black guy. Yep totally legit. Then after a bit 3 cop cars come out of nowhere arrest some drunk guy down the street. Then keep doing circles around the block obviously looking for some other guy but oddly enough driving past us (the legit guys) very slowly. Fun times.

P.s. The black guy was Shan and yes he is very black.

The end.

LOL having an accidental strayan day today. Strayan days so awesome.

Ahahaha Shan, the darkness.

Accidental Strayan Day FTW.

What did you get defected for?

AHAHAHAHA! F*ck I laughed at that. You should definitely own a 31 bro.

HAHAHA yeah I thought it was a great idea... I actually got it off this very site...

What did you get defected for?

Is this the same old one? Or a NEW defect??

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
