you must have some modern Windows release of the game. I still have the old DOS version which doesn't seem to want to run anymore. Maybe I haven't played enough with the compatibility settings. or do you have a DOS VM running?

nah someone has written a newer emulator for the original game - works well.

How'd you go, McFly?

Only a 63.51 :(

Wasn't monitoring the tyres and the FL was flat by the end of the third session. Must have a slow/intermittent leak. Need to get it looked at and go back out there.

Morning Mangs,

Monday Tuesday :(

Highlight of the F1

I much prefered Quick Nick's extreme parking skills.

ah come on jez there was some good racing this time, when it wasn't "too wet"

What do you mean 'this time'?

Evening

Zombie house

Sup Jase! Scarnon?

That zombie house is so last month :P

Yeah I'm hurting too. Really need to do some fitness work.

To be fair I wouldn't be keen on crouching down to keep for 50 overs any more either. It's hard enough doing it for 16 in indoor!

    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
