Hi fellas, I've just upgraded my wheels, thus, selling my R34 GTT Rims. They are in excellent condition with MINOR scratches (will post some pics tonight)

They come with Brand New RT615 Falken Semi Slick tyres (which are road legal, worth $400 each), and when I say brand new, I mean they still have the stickers on them and are still in packaging.

The wheels are 17 x 7.5 +40 (perfect offset for R33 GTS-T, which I had them on)

The tyres are 245/45/17 (x4 brand new) rear and 235/45/17 on the front (x2). All up you get 6 tyres.

I am asking for $600 with the tyres, or $300 without the tyres and I'll just sell the tyres seperately.

Cheers.

I am located in Canberra.

Pics will be put up tonight.

I still have the receipt for the tyres I purchased for $1,400. They are still in packaging and untouched.

This is a bargain for anyone who purchases these wheels.

hey, sorry didn't see you've posted the size already,

nway, I can pick them up wed.

cheers

Hi Fellas,

My car is still at the workshop getting some things done to it until this Friday (hopefully the mechanic will be done by then)

The wheels are currently on my car, thus, it will have to wait until the w/e if anyone intends to do pic ups, providing that I get my car back from the mechanic.

Subsequently, I have to get my new wheels fitted, and then the buyer can purchase the wheels.

Cheers

o0oo0o i want those rubber ....

if its 600 all up and 300 for just the rims ... 300 for just the tyres ?

No I don't want to split the package, but if I have to, it'll be $300 for the rims and $500 for the rubber.

That's $125 per tyre, you will not find that price anywhere...

I've attached some pics of the new tyres and my car for you to see what they look like. The tyres have been sitting in my garage for a few months now, so please excuse the dust and dirt.

Cheers.

at these prices i would assume u wouldn't be worried about the semis fitting or not.

so tempting for me as i was looking for some stockish rims to go track with as well and with semis as well.

but don't r33 need a spacer to fit r34 gtt rims like a 3mm one or something?

apparently they hit the wording on the caliper?

No, they fit straight on, as you can see on my car, I don't have spacers or use anything else to make them fit, they are great wheels, and look great too.

They miss the caliper by a good 1cm, I don't know who told you they hit the wording...?

Hi Fellas,

There's been alot of interest in the package, and I keep getting asked the following questions, so I made a little FAQ:

1) Will you ship? I don't mind shipping the wheels, providing that the buyer organises their own courier and pays for shipping.

2) When will the wheels and tyres be available? My car is currently at the mechanic (finalising engine build) and wheels are on the car, and won't be out until Friday this week 20th March. Assuming the mechanic finishes on time with tuning and all, the wheels can be picked up anytime after Sunday, as I still have to put my new wheels on the car and get tyres fitted on my new wheels.

Cheers

Hi Fellas,

Look to be honest, I feel like I am ripping myself off.

I purchased JUST the tyres for $1,400.00.

I feel $600 is a little too low for rims and tyres, considering the tyres are litterally brand new.

Price is now $800 firm for both wheels and tyres. If I don't get the price I am after, I will place them on eBay, where I think I'll definately get $800.

The wheels and tyres will be available from next Monday as the date has just been pushed back for the car to come out of the work shop.

I also do not want to seperate the package, wheels and tyres will be sold together.

Sorry to all those people who PMd me.... $600 is just too low...

Cheers.

$800 is still a steal mate!

if i had the cash right now id snap em up! maybe if some one wants to use kevin rudds $900 for a sick set of tyres and you basically end up with a free set of nice rims.

good luck with the sale mate, still a bargain.

cheers

other way around.. need spacers for the front of a r34 when fitting r33 wheels

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
