I'm only pushing 170RWKW's in my RB20 and I just did a big end bearing up at wakefield due to oil starvation. In saying that I was bouncing of 7500 rev limiter (maybe not bouncing but it was a drift day) and had the car being thrown around fairly violently.

So unless you are belting your car side to side, and redlining it, you don't have much to worry about, But i would do it if you were building your motor :)

Yes - on the proviso you have done the rest of the mods.

183 rwkw in a GTS-t is very good so I suspect you have a few mods already. FMIC, Zorst, Turbs, Puter etc....If you want to push 200rwkws - safe not sorry. Spend now and save later. Would you risk an engine rebuild?

Its an 94 r33 gtst This is My first nissan skyline so i am not sure on what mods i need to do so it does not blow my engine and to get more power

Ok, as its your first skyline ill be very blunt;

-Changing oil pumps in a GTST is a waste of time with that power level, or if its working fine

-You will break the oil pump if you bounce off the redline time and time again

-Always warm up before using more than 30% throttle on cold start

-Always cool down (fit a turbo timer if you're a leadfoot)

-Before adding power, sort out suspension and a short shifter for the gearbox

-Once you've got it sorted suspension wise look for more power

Powerwise;

-FMIC (forum sponsors)

-EBC (forum sponsors)

-HKS GTRS kit (forum sponsors)

-ECU, ideally one that uses MAP vs TPS for mapping (forum sponsors)

-Quality exhaust including highflow cat, good dump pipe (forum sponsors)

:/

EDIT: If you need any further clarification, call a few workshops and get quotes for "just a new oil pump fitted" :laugh:

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
