Annoying Squeke After Clutch

Hi all

I had a clutch installed in my gtt about 6 months ago at a very reputable import garage here in Melbourne.

The problem is ever since the day i drove away it has had a squeak in the gearbox area. I have had the car on a hoist and poked and prodded at everything in and around the transmission tunnel but cant find a cause.

it squeaks it in gear out of gear with the clutch in with the clutch out and all other combination's.

Its got to the point where i upgraded the stereo to avoid it, but it still gets to me every now and then.

any ideas or suggestions? i can only assume now its actually inside the gearbox and non serviceable without removing it, which i don't want to do.

I had a similar problem with my holden clutch.

Seems the trust bearing wasn't properly disengaged which led to metal rubbing on metal alot of the time.

Was covered under warranty and they fixed the issue.

(This was an eXtreme clutch)
