Hi guys,

Just upgraded to a BA Fairmont so the trusty AU is up for sale (Job change means traveling which means car allowance which means I need a more expensive car for tax purposes =\ ).

265,000k's with history, starts first time, idles fine, drives well. Slight vibration at highway speeds but nothing more major than this mechanically. My round trip to work is only 26k's so it's never really bothered me.

Auto in good nick, makes the standard AU whine but doesn't clunk or snatch.

Dark tinted windows

Bonnet protector

Genuine Floor mats

6 Stacker in the boot

Tyres only 8,000k's old

Rear spoiler

New swaybar bushes

New waterpump pipe o-rings (common failure)

Interior in good condition, door handls have peeled a touch on the join but otherwise interior is in good condition. No stains, rips etc.

Registered until July

All the usual Fairmont electrics, power mirrors, windows, cruise, climate. All working.

Power windows have on the odd occasion been finicky from the individual switches, always works fine from the drivers switch. I've cleaned them out a few times and they come good for a while, I've got 2 brand new rear switches which will be included.

Trip computer LCD display is missing 2 individual bars from the number readout, never bothered me so have left it.

Exterior is in pretty good condition, there is a small crack in the front bar, various stone chips up front and marks here and there around the body but nothing major, no rust.

I'll get some proper pics up on the weekend when my internet is not throttled =( That is not the car but is basically identical except for the tinted windows.

Car has been used as a to and from work car and a reliable daily, upgrading because the accountant said it's a wise move.

When driven like a Fairmont and not a race car she easily gets fuel economy in the 10's per hundred. I get called Grandpa Dan =\

$4200 with reg and RWC (I imagine it might need a handbrake cable to pass RWC as it's getting tired and I think an Auto has to be able to sit in D and have the handbrake hold it back?)

OR

$3500 as is, no reg no RWC.

(Can also do up a second receipt to save on a bit of rego costs)

Could also sell it with Reg but you sort your own roadworthy for somewhere in between those two figures.

I'm also on the hunt for an S13 or an R32 as a track/drift type car and would be happy to pay cash your way with the AU as part payment. (Be quick if you want in on this as I have an S13 lined up for this weekend which I'm most likely going to buy).

Shoot me an email at [email protected] or give me a call on 0427 928 304 after business hours.

Make me an offer guys, car has got to go

Mate do you mean the one in your sig? Coz that is way outta my price range and too clean for a track car. The S13 I have lined up is 5500 for reference.

yea thats theone i mean.

tis set up for track use but i only use it as weekend car.

cheers anyway and gl. shouldnt last long.

Pics should be up on Sunday.

Found my track car so will be picking that up on Saturday.

So if you had a trade in mind you'd better make it super snappy lol

Keep the offers coming, I definitely won't have the space for this so it's gotta go

Also, if you find me a buyer and it goes through - $100 finders fee. Easy money.

Here's some pics guys. Been raining all week so I had to duck out and snap some quickly while the clouds cleared for a bit.

I've got hi-res versions and can take more as requested.
