hey guys!

well this is my first post here, wasnt sure where to say hello so figured i would combine it with a question :) (efficient right?!)

i've just got my grubby hands on a skyline i've wanted since i was about 13, an R32 gtst coupe. it had been converted to manual by its previous owner, but the gearbox used wasnt the greatest and didnt last long. he got another box for it, and around the same time started talking to me about taking possession of it. as a result i ended up putting in the new box for him, deal being if it was okay then we would make a deal.

which was fine, got the box in okay. however while working on the car i noticed that a few things had been done in a pretty sloppy fashion, which i tidied up - and then later i started reading about how the auto spigot bush can be a real pain to get out. it seemed like whoever put the original box in had been pretty lazy / in a big hurry and had left tricky and annoying stuff undone.

which got me to thinking that maybe they never changed the spigot bush over... so what i want to know is, what are the possible consequences of this? i didnt think to look when i had the box out, and i would prefer not to pull it out again unless i really need to :) does anyone have a picture of what the auto bush looks like? (maybe it will jog a memory)

cheers for any help, and hi once again!
