Hi Guys/Girls,

I have just got into STOCK S2 Stag, from a 600hp XR6 turbo.

I need some go fast bits to get the wagon moving and looking a little tougher!

WTB:

Coilovers (not to harsh as it'll be a bit of a family wagon)

Full Exhaust (prefer HKS silent or similar + dump/cat ect)

Injectors

Fuel pump

Air filter

Dolphin Front bar

18" Wheels pref TE37 or similar (not chrome though)

If you have any thing else let me know.

Cheers, Kym

Lol at this post...

u obviously didnt do any of ur "600hp falcz"

the only peformance parts u have listed that are going to give u power are the exhaust and injectorors... from what i understand ull need a computer to control them, ur better off starting with an...

exhaust, just jap do a dump pipe, gut your cat and get a 32 33 gtr exhaust and get it lenthened to fit up. $555 mine cost

EBC (greddy profec b spec 2 imo set to like 11psi for now). 350ish

rb25 front mounted inercooler... dont get a greddy one or ne thing unless u want ghetto power, its just not worth it $300 350

.SAFC2 to remove the rich and retarding the stock computer gives u when you boost hard. 200 plus 100 tune

take off your intake pipe a put a 3' peice of exhaust pipe/pvc maybe in and secure it up. free-$5

get a DRIFT pod plus addapter $80

shift kit from MV automatics in blackwood $400ish

buy about now ull have around 190 at the rears... nb for cheap mods...

speak to tangles hes got about 250 i think at the rears in his rs4...

hes got cams, pullys, highflowed turbos, and so on... make sure your cars running and doing what its ment to do stock 1st...

service it all, get sum nice tyers on it or sumthing... also ppl do e manage ultimates fit auto stags?

btw... id say postin up saying u want ur car to "go tougher" is not a good idea...

Actually! I did every thing on my XR6 my self, except for the tuning!! So I have a fair understanding of what is needed to make SAFE RELIABLE power.

Every thing I listed IMPROVES performance (except body kit). I have done my research and know roughly what I want. I put this thread up to see if any one had the parts laying around, instead of me buying new stuff.

    • You Gregged a whole racetrack!?
    • Look for broken wire or bad connector at the motor. Might not be it, but is worth starting there, as it is easy.
    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
