Evening Out Hot Spots...

Hi guys, I've just installed a multi-angle LED kit to my R34 GTR dash. It lights up better but there are definitiely some hot spots, even with the multi-angle LED's. Can anyone suggest any solutions to evening out the bright/dark spots of the poorly designed Nissan dash?

A couple of options, you can try to sand the tips of the rectangle LEDs to get maixum diffusion of the light...it does help some.

We're getting in some newly designed LEDs to trial soon for difficult dashes, like the Nissan ones that like to use tiny bulbs...and not enough of them, lucky we don't own N16 Pulsars a grand total of 2 x T5's for those, rediculous!!!

I found the same thing with mine, so I bought some frosting spray from the local hardware store and gave them a good coating. Seemed to work well.

You sprayed over the LED tips? Did this also diminish the amount of light emitted from them?
